Hear the TurboHarp ELX

Turn on your speakers and hold on to your hats...

These two short clips demonstrate the ELX in monaural

Blow and Draw Bends

The TurboHarp/ELX is connected in stereo with draw reeds on the left channel and blow reeds on the right channel. As a low note is bent, the activity of the draw reed diminishes as the blow reed is enhanced. The acoustic effect is to transfer the sound from left to right (or right to left).

"Oh Susanna"
The TurboHarp/ELX is connected in stereo as above, but with the low octave patched through a digital delay. As the tune progresses, an increasing amount of delay is added... just for fun.

"Summertime in Space"
Here I went a little nuts with the digital delay, altering the delay time while playing, creating a flanged sound. The TurboHarp/ELX is connected in stereo as above.
